Team C-19 Advisory to the Congregation of First Presbyterian of Farmington

We are sorry to advise, that as of this writing, COVID-19 cases are undergoing a significant increase.  As a result, in-person worship will cease and building usage will be restricted effective immediately following the conclusion of worship on November 1, 2020.  The restrictions are in effect until further notice.

Please tune into the podcast available on our website.  Updates will be available in the FYI, eblasts, podcasts, website, FB or by calling the church office.

Until the pandemic is over the following limitations and practices must be followed:

  • Limited meetings necessary to the functioning of the church may be approved in accordance with COVID occupancy standards. (All such meetings must be submitted to Team C-19 for approval and scheduled in advance with Karen Spica).
  • All approved meeting leaders will receive a Room Usage Report before their meeting begins.He/she must complete the designated sanitation requirements and return a completed Room Usage Report to the office or a designated drop location at the conclusion of their meeting.
  • People visiting/volunteering in the office must be pre-approved and expected. (Do not drop in without letting the staff know you are coming. This is for their safety as well as yours).

Zoom accessibility is available for all groups (Bible Study, Circles, Book Clubs, Social groups, etc.) to meet remotely.  This is the recommended means of meeting for the foreseeable future.  Call the office (Karen Spica) to set up a Zoom meeting.  Many groups/committees are successfully meeting via Zoom.  Groups that have been attempting in-person meetings should revert to Zoom meetings until further notice.
