Positives of Our Church

- The Pastor Nominating Committee is meeting weekly to complete the Call Process Checklist
- Spiritual growth is occurring at FPCF. We have prayer vigils, adult Bible study, outreach through Facebook, Wednesday prayer group, a strong Presbyterian Women’s group, successful Presbyterian Players group, Friday game nights and leadership being shown by a variety of members. Members also have personal spiritual growth, . We have an enthusiastic group of liturgists, with each volunteering several times a year to assist the pastor with Sunday worship.
- Presbyterian Women: There are three PW Circles which offer a small group setting for bible study, fellowship, and opportunities for outreach into the community. There are also larger events hosted by Presbyterian Women which feature guest speakers. They are one of the most active Presbyterian Women’s programs in area.
- Music Program: We try to offer a variety of options in our anthem choices with traditional, modern, gospel, some adapted hymns, some liturgical and occasionally foreign language pieces. The Chancel Choir may be small in number, but it is a supportive, cohesive group that cares about praising God and up lifting the congregation through music. Our Minister of Music , Peter Cartwright, is flexible and patient as he learns what our capabilities are, having only been here 4 months. The choir sings almost every Sunday. The Bell choir is also a strong group, assisting in worship once a month. The music director also uses special musicians to enhance worship, some from our congregation and some from outside hired sources.
- Presbyterian Players is a drama group that presents an annual Christmas play open to the public and the congregation.

“Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where human (man’s) power ends/”
